The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Regional Office, through its Scholarship and UniFAST Unit, participated in Caraga State University’s (CSU) Scholars’ Night 2026 held on June 16, 2026 at VCDU Prince Hotel, Imadejas, Butuan City. The event, themed “Honoring Brilliance, Inspiring Futures,” gathered scholars and university officials in celebration of academic excellence, resilience, and the successful completion of studies by graduating scholars despite various challenges.

Representing the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Regional Office were Mr. Ever Joy G. Rabadan, MAEM, MSc., Education Supervisor II for the Scholarship and UniFAST Unit, and Ms. Heidi M. Paradero, Project Technical Staff III and Lead Regional Coordinator. Their participation reflected CHED Caraga’s continued support for scholars through scholarship and student financial assistance programs.

CHED Caraga highlighted the perseverance of scholars in overcoming financial and personal challenges in pursuing higher education, underscoring how government scholarship programs translate into meaningful outcomes through student success stories. The event also served as a venue for scholars to share their experiences and aspirations as they prepare for their next journey as professionals and future leaders.

A Plaque of Appreciation was awarded to CHED Caraga in recognition of its continued support and partnership in CSU’s scholarship program.
