The activity covered two (2) major HEDF-funded projects aimed at enhancing the instructional, research, and innovation capabilities of the two state universities through the establishment and upgrading of specialized learning facilities.

ADSSU received a total of Php15 million for the project, “Establishment of Advanced Engineering and Industrial Technology e-Learning and Laboratory Facilities.” Meanwhile, CSU was granted Php10 million for the project, “Provision of Various Equipment for Engineering Laboratories to Strengthen Microelectronics, Renewable Energy, Robotics and Automation, and Mining Technology.”

The inspection was led by HEDFS Director III Ms. Aline G. Magalong, together with CHED Caraga Regional Director IV Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, and was attended by university officials and project implementers from both CSU and ADSSU.

Through the sustained implementation of HEDF-supported initiatives, CHED remains committed to advancing quality and relevant higher education by equipping higher education institutions with the resources necessary to promote innovation, academic excellence, and sustainable regional development.
