The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) successfully conducted the evaluation visit to Caraga State University (CSU) on April 20, 2026 for the issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Master of Environmental Management program.
The visit is part of the procedures to assess program compliance with CHED Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs) and ensure adherence to national quality standards in graduate education. Key areas were reviewed, including curriculum alignment, faculty qualifications, research outputs, physical facilities, and student support services. It also looked into the institution’s capacity to deliver quality instruction and how it contributes to environmental research and sustainable development goals.
The evaluation was led by Dr. Ma. Victoria Espaldon, Chair of the Technical Panel for Environmental Science, together with Ms. Remedios Talingdan of the Office of Program Standards and Development (OPSD), CHED Central Office, and Mr. Ever Joy G. Rabadan, Education Supervisor for Agriculture and Related Sciences of CHED Caraga.
