The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Caraga Regional Office attended the Exit Conference with the Commission on Audit (COA) Caraga on March 3, 2026 at CHED HEDC, Ampayon, Butuan City.
The agenda of the meeting included discussions on CY 2025 audit observations and recommendations, the status of prior yearβs audit, and other issues and concerns relevant to the officeβs continued pursuit of improved operations and compliance.
Present during the meeting were CHED Caraga management, headed by Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, Director IV, together with the COA audit team, led by Mr. Jesus Misael D. Almendralejo, Acting Assistant Regional Director, and Ms. Janah P. Tapangan, Outgoing Audit Team Leader.
The meeting concluded with both CHED Caraga and COA affirming their commitment to transparency, accountability, and the continuous improvement of the officeβs programs and operations.
